Our 1000, 650 and 570 thread count pure Egyptian cotton sateens are our best selling and most popular fabrics. Our 570tc referred to as ‘Classic Plain’ it is made using a double twisted yarn making it extra durable, long lasting but also extremely luxurious and easy to iron and care for, your linens will become softer after each wash.

The weight of a towel is measured by the GSM (Grams per Square Metre). Low GSM (300-400) towels are light and thin whilst high GSM (500-700) towels are thicker and heavier. For all towels a GSM higher than 500 will provide a soft and absorbent towel. Typically, the higher the GSM, the better performance you will have from the towel.

Our Egyptian cotton is made from ELS (extra long staple) cotton which is more durable and stronger than short staple cottons, it is hand picked and rolled in cotton gins preventing damage to the fibres, it is one of the finest grades of cotton in the world and will become softer after each wash.

In technical terms, tog ratings measure thermal resistance. This in effect refers to how good an item is at keeping you warm on a cold night. Duvets with a higher tog value are more suited to colder winter nights whereas low tog values are usually best for warmer summer nights.
